Ignite was the first piece in what became my signature style. I discovered the use of dexterities (my hands) in applying paint. It brought a new level of depth and personalisation, the work felt more 'real' because I was using my physicality to create it. It aims to convey the physical intimacy of intense relationships, fraught with passion, conflict, with a subtle nod to the toxic nature of such dynamics.
